Want to play at the UK’s newest intimate electronic music festival in front of 1000 revelers?

Well this is your chance to win the ultimate DJ set at Natural Rhythm – we are looking for TWO new DJ’s to play in our two secret unannounced stages…

On top of winning a DJ slot, we will publish your mix on our podcast and give you 2 AAA passes, so that you can enjoy this experience with a friend!

Submit your entries for this amazing prize, via Mixcloud, and Natural Rhythm HQ will judge them. The winners will be announced on the 1st July 2012.

These slots are for a daytime set. All styles are welcome, although we are after one down tempo mix for one of the stages. The mix you send needs to demonstrate that you understand that a DJ must be able to play at any time of the day, and that a daytime slot at a festival is a skill as much as a headline slot later on. Focus on how you would deliver the ultimate festival set, one that anyone is unlikely to forget!

HOW TO ENTER:

  • You need to join Mixcloud and upload a mix to your own profile.
  • Your mix needs to be at least 30 minutes long
  • Title your entry: “Natural Rhythm Festival Mix”
  • Tag your mix “Natural Rhythm Festival Mix”. Failure to do so may result in your mix being missed.
  • Include the Natural Rhythm logo, as the cover-art, which can be found here

JUDGING:

  • Mixes must gain over 30 “favourites” in order to be considered for the shortlist. We are looking for DJ’s who show commitment.
  • Entrants will be encouraged to show an ability to promote themselves, by the tools available through Mixcloud and other social media platforms.
  • Entrants will be judged on how many “favourites” a mix has got, track selection, originality and technical ability.

The mixes with the most “favourites” will be considered for the shortlist.

  • Entrants must be over 18
  • Entrants must be available on the 6th & 7th July 2012 inclusive
  • Only one entry per person is permitted and we reserve the right to wholly disqualify any person who attempts to enter more than once. No third or bulk entries are permitted.
  • Prize is non-transferable.
